By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.
Proverbs 24:3-4
What a beautiful picture. I am so excited for you. What a blessing you have on the way. A little one to complete your heart where you never knew a part was missing. It's the best - ever.
I've never commented here before but was just wondering how far along you are? My husband and I are expecting our first and today are 20 weeks! It's such an exciting time! Congratulations!
You're both beautiful! I just loooovveee a pregnant belly...not much more beautiful than that, in my opinion! You're sheltering a great life that is being woven and spun at this very moment...it's a miracle!
Hey! Have you started building your CD stash? I have newborn stuff some one-size diapers, but I'm not done. It is hard to restrain myself... everything is so cute.
OH WOW! Look at you with a belly already!?!? and are those maternity pants? Oh lord-that is the part I'm NOT looking forward to! (ps you look great by the way :) ) Love you miss you!
Awesome Chica! Love the baby belly! Had our little William last Tuesday - we're so glad he is here and healthy! Hey! If you haven't listened to Colbie Caillat's "Capri" song GO LISTEN - made me bawl when I listened to it (when I was still pregnant) You'll love it! Prayin' for ya!
Help me win this award so that we can send the prize money to missionary friends running a children's hospital in Ethiopia!!
Home Sweet Home
Welcome to my world . . . decorating my life (and new-old house) with Mr. Marvelous.
“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” Proverbs 24:3-4
After house hunting for an old house on some acreage for over a year, and not having any luck finding the right house for us, we changed gears and decided to build a new house with some of the characteristics of the older houses we love-hardwood floors, built-ins, molding, etc. The house was built in 2008, but is still very much a work in decorating progress. I grew up on Lake Michigan and my husband grew up near the coast in North Carolina, so we both love the beach and miss it dearly while living here in the land-locked midwest. I try to incorporate elements of coastal style in the house without being overall beach-tourist-tacky ;) My dream house would be either an old farmhouse on 30 acres or a beach house on the coast. Maybe someday we'll have one or both of those . . . but until then . . . welcome to our "new old" house.
